 thour\, examines the collaboration of Polish village leaders and their c
 ommunities in the implementation of genocide between 1939 and 1945. Trac
 ing the radicalization of anti-Jewish violence across towns and villages
  in the Lublin region\, it explores the motives of local perpetrators\, 
 including: fear of German reprisals\, material opportunism\, social mobi
 lity\, and the growing normalization of violence against Jewish life. Th
 e talk further reflects on the significance of local participation in Ho
 locaust from the perspective of victims who experienced robbery\, deport
 ation\, and murder at the hands of their neighbors. In doing so\, it con
 siders how genocide materialized through intimate forms of violence embe
 dded in everyday social relations. Free and open to the public.</span></
