Welcome Fest 2025 A Day of Exploration, Connection, and Celebration to Jumpstart Student Success MiraCosta College invites all new and prospective students—and their families—to attend Welcome Fest 2025 on Saturday, July 19, at the Oceanside Campus. The event is designed to help students launch their academic journey by providing essential resources, information, and inspiration in a fun, engaging environment. Welcome Fest offers students the opportunity to explore MiraCosta’s Academic and Career Pathways (ACPs), complete key onboarding tasks, and access services that support academic and personal success. Attendees will enjoy free food, music, MiraCosta swag, and a FREE Spartan Pass ID card. At Welcome Fest, students can: - Complete orientation
- Explore Academic and Career Pathways (ACPs)
- Meet with or schedule time with academic counselors
- Learn how to access financial aid and scholarships
- Connect with professors and student services staff
- Go on guided campus tours
- Complete onboarding “to-do” list items
- Attend workshops and information sessions

The North San Diego County NAACP’s 23rd Back-to-School, Stay-in-School Rally is taking place on Saturday, August 2 from 11am-1pm. This event serves our north county families and their K-12 grade children. During this event families visit MiraCosta College campus to access community resources, receive a free lunch, and backpacks filled with school supplies for their children in Kinder-8th grade.
