Cloverbud Camp is a day camp offering outdoor adventure for children ages 5-8. It provides the fun of camp with the security of evenings at home. The program runs July 13-15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Georgeson Botanical Garden, located on the UAF Troth Yeddha' Campus. Nature observations, crafts, games and educational adventures are designed to appeal to this age group's interests and attention span. FUN is the key ingredient! Staff will include the 4-H program coordinator, a certified adult leader, junior teen counselors ages 12 and up, and resource people from the community. Camp begins at 9 a.m. each day and pick up is at 1 p.m. Campers should bring a jacket, rain boots and sack lunch. Snacks and beverages will be provided. There will be a potluck family picnic on the last day of camp. Registration is open. Camp is limited to 25 day campers. All 4-H youth and non-4-H youth are welcome. Fairbanks: Wine and Peonies at Georgeson Botanical Garden
The Georgeson Botanical Garden will hold its annual fundraiser, Wine and Peonies, on Wednesday, July 15, from 5-7:30 p.m.
Spend a sophisticated summer evening wandering through the beautiful blooms of the garden. Guests will enjoy a curated selection of fine wines and delicious hors d'oeuvres while taking guided garden tours. Before the evening concludes, participants will be able to harvest and take home a stunning, fresh bouquet of signature GBG peonies.
Please note that all attendees must be 21 years of age or older. We look forward to sharing this magical evening with you in support of the garden!

Field Days is an opportunity for the public to join UAF researchers for a day of learning at our experiment farms! Tour the fields and farms and learn through presentations, tours and discussions about varietal trials, small grains breeding, livestock nutrition, soil health and more! Farmers, community leaders and the general public are invited to this free educational event at the Fairbanks Experiment Farm, located on the UAF Troth Yeddha' Campus in Fairbanks. Each field day will include a schedule of talks presented by researchers. Please leave your dogs at home.
