DMSC Talking Circles provide students with a consistent, supportive space to engage in meaningful conversations about topics that directly affect their academic, personal, and social experiences. Through facilitated discussions on masculinity, mental health, identity, stereotypes, emotional expression, healthy relationships, substance use, body image, academic success, and leadership, students are encouraged to share experiences, learn from one another, and build community. The Talking Circles are designed to strengthen students’ sense of belonging, promote healthy approaches to masculinity and well-being, connect participants with campus resources, and develop relationships rooted in trust, respect, and mutual support.
