Dating on the Spectrum - Navigating relationships and neurodiversity.
This workshop is for folks who are neurodiverse, dating someone who is neuro diverse, or are interested in supporting friends who are neurodiverse. Gain skills in being your authentic self with a person you are dating. We will practice identifying others boundaries as well as expressing our own.
This workshop is part of the Healthy Relationship skill shop series. All workshops center on supporting survivors of violence and respecting diversity. Let's bid Winter a warm goodbye and welcome in the Spring by celebrating Holi! Holi also known as the "Festival of Colors" is a Hindu festival that celebrates the arrival of spring along with the triumph of good over evil and lastly the divine love between Radha and Krishna! What better way to celebrate but with some delicious snacks, music, dancing, many games such as finding the coin, a color scavenger hunt, coin-stacking (you can even win prizes while supplies last) and make friendship bracelets, get mehndi, lotus flower potting and more! Of course we also couldn't forget the main event the color powder throwing so be sure to wear white when you come! We hope to be able to see you there and wish you joyful start of the new season!

PI DAY
We are excited to celebrate Pi Day (3.14) with an engaging and educational event focused on Euler’s number, π and its everyday applications. Throughout the day, students will participate in interactive math activities that highlight how π is used in real-world fields such as engineering, architecture, science, and technology. Our goal is to make mathematics both meaningful and fun while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. To make the celebration even more memorable, we are requesting funding to provide pies for students from Humboldt Pies, a valued community partner who has generously contributed in the past. Incorporating actual pies into our Pi Day celebration adds a hands-on, festive element that helps students connect the mathematical concept of π to something tangible and enjoyable.
