Pronto 101: Building Connection, One Message at a Time
Pronto is a communication and engagement tool built directly into Canvas that supports Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI) while connecting students with instructors and peers. In this introductory workshop, explore Pronto’s messaging, group communication, and multimedia tools—including video, audio, images, and screen sharing—to facilitate collaboration, provide timely feedback, and increase interaction.
This workshop supports PLAY goals in Engaging Students and Building Belonging, connecting communication and multimedia tools to classroom stronger participation and community.
After this session, instructors will be able to:
* Enable Pronto within your Canvas Course
* Send messages to individuals and groups
* Create groups to support a more engaging and inclusive learning Environment
* Apply video, audio, screen sharing, and image tools for feedback.
