Petals to Remember: Armenian History Month
Join us for Petals to Remember, a meaningful event dedicated to Armenian history, culture, and the importance of community engagement. This gathering offers an opportunity to reflect on the historical and cultural legacy of the Armenian people while fostering awareness and connection within our community.
The program will feature a presentation by Silva Khayalian, who will share insights into Armenian history and highlight the lasting impact of influential Armenian figures, including Komitas.
In addition, attendees will participate in a Forget-Me-Not Flower Project, a symbolic activity honoring remembrance. During this portion of the event, participants will create their own flowers while learning about the historical significance of the Forget-Me-Not and its connection to Armenian identity and memory.
We invite you to take part in this educational and reflective experience as we honor Armenian heritage and encourage meaningful community involvement.
