CPL and Statewide Recommendations

Learn about Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) and how to review the statewide recommendations from Mapping Articulated Pathways (MAP). In this workshop we'll introduce/review what CPL is, what can count as CPL, and then how to start by comparing your own discipline courses to the statewide recommendations. We'll focus on the education and job experiences that veterans often have, as well as other working professionals who may have industry-level certifications or licenses, and then how faculty can compare the knowledge and skills from these experiences to our own Course Outlines of Record (COR)s and C-ID descriptors.
