Team Internships: Final Presentations

We invite all faculty and staff to join us for our Team Internships Final Presentations, where student teams share their solutions to a real business challenge. Your constructive yet supportive feedback helps students strengthen their communication, problem-solving, and professional readiness as they act as consultants for local partners. This is a meaningful way to champion student growth, see the program in action, and contribute your expertise to an experience that blends classroom learning with real-world impact. After the presentations, you’ll also have the opportunity to network with students and learn more about what they gained from the program. Design Research across Art and Science

Over the past decade, Aroussiak Gabrielian has developed a series of speculative design research projects operating at the intersection of art and science to interrogate the position of the human within an increasingly unstable planetary future. Working across landscape architecture, media arts, and experimental biodesign, her work stages intimate encounters between human bodies and landscape matter—soil, plants, water, atmosphere—through installations, living systems, and spatial prototypes. These projects unsettle extractive habits while cultivating new modes of attention, reciprocity, and care. Through installations, rituals, and experimental spatial practices, Gabrielian advances design as a form of research that not only shapes environments but also produces knowledge about the complex entanglements between human and more-than-human worlds. This lecture presents recent creative works, writings, and applied research, examining how speculative design and expanded media—when positioned between artistic… Organization: Science Lecture Series.
