Biology Undergraduate Research Symposium

The Biology Undergraduate Research Symposium provides an environment for students who have taken Biology 298 - Undergraduate Research in Microbiology and Molecular Biology to present their current research project to the public. It is a great event for students to build on their communication and presentation skills, network, and for the GCC community and the public to support our students and learn about the great work that our students conducted. GCC staff, administrators, and students get the opportunity to actively engage one-one-one with the student researchers and learn novel discoveries that GCC students contributed to the scientific community. It's a great event to showcase the wonderful, unique, and experiential education that GCC offers. Organization: Biology. Primary Professional Development Focus Area: Engaging Students. Categories: FLEX. Internal Presenter(s) [including yourself, if applicable]: Shelley Thai & BIOL 298 and Biology Independent Student Researchers. Which campus is your event taking place? Verdugo.
