Title IX Overview Training provides an introduction to Title IX, the federal law that prohibits sex-based discrimination in educational programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Title IX, including prohibited conduct such as sexual harassment and sexual violence, reporting options, the rights of complainants and respondents, supportive measures, institutional responsibilities, and the role of employees in maintaining a safe and equitable learning and working environment. The training also reviews reporting obligations, available resources, and best practices for fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and compliance.
