But the story of the Nursing profession has largely been incomplete. We've heard about Florence Nightingale, Clara Barton, and Dorothea Dix, but what do we know about Mary Eliza Mahoney, Mary Seacole, and Sojourner Truth? What contributions have people of color made to the Nursing profession, and why are their stories largely excluded from textbooks and Nursing curriculum? And in what ways can Nursing curriculum and texts include and reflect the experiences and needs of a diverse patient population? Join Katie (Catherine) Dudley for a fascinating and thought-provoking discussion about the history and future of Nursing curriculum. All are invited to attend. Organization: Nursing Science.
