PlayLab is a nonprofit technology platform supported by the CCC that allows educators to build custom, no-code AI tools and chatbots for teaching and learning. In this introductory session, explore how PlayLab can help you create lesson-specific resources, interactive student tutors, and AI-powered tools that provide student scaffolding, support, and engagement without replacing the instructor. You’ll explore practical classroom applications and begin building your own bot aligned with your course content and student needs. The session will also introduce ways to use AI safely and intentionally while developing students’ AI literacy. This workshop supports PLAY goals in the Technology and Innovation and Growing Your Potential focus areas, connecting hands-on AI tool-building to purposeful, learner-centered classroom applications and instructor growth.

Pronto for Advanced Users
Welcome Back Week
This session is tailored for current Pronto users who are ready to expand their knowledge and explore new ways to use Pronto to support student engagement and Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI). Explore new Pronto features, the Gradebook, and the fundamentals of creating a Pronto Assignment within Canvas. Learn how to implement these new features and expand your current Pronto practices to enhance communication, interaction, and student support. Time will be provided to ask questions, share strategies, and troubleshoot with fellow Pronto users. This workshop supports PLAY goals in the Engaging Students and Building Belonging focus areas, connecting Pronto's communication features to fostering stronger connections and participation with students.

Think of Padlet AI as a teaching assistant that can help generate activities, lesson plans, maps, and assessments while incorporating multimedia, scaffolding, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. Explore practical ways to use Padlet AI to save time on everyday course preparation while creating learner-centered experiences that support meaningful engagement and interaction.
