Join us Monday, October 26, from 12- 2 p.m. in the grass area in front of Building 12 in the Main Quad, near the Housing Office. UPD will provide a secure collection container for medication drop-off. Staff from UPD, Housing, Sustainability, the Personal Growth and Counseling Center, and the Campus Health Center will share resources and answer questions about medication safety, overdose and suicide prevention, and the environmental impacts of improper disposal. Medication lock bags will also be available while supplies last.

29th Annual Day of the Dead Celebration
VPA’s annual Day of the Dead event includes a processional, large-scale altar, Aztec dancers, traditional Mexican refreshments, student club altars, face painting, and an art exhibition––all of which integrate participation from a cross section of student, faculty, staff, and local community members. The Day of the Dead Celebration is also a culmination of a series of hands-on workshops, class presentations, such as the Papel Picado workshop, Sugar Skull Workshop, and DIY Day of the Dead screen-printing workshop.

The Masculinity and Mental Health 101 Training provides participants with an overview of mental health, mental stigma, and experiences of mental health as it relates to Black masculine individuals.
This intervention does this by training and working with Black men, boys and masculine individuals to:
? Identify and apply skills to address the link between toxic masculinity, male privilege, mental health and sexual and domestic violence;
? Model and produce behaviors that promote masculine expressions that support gender equality, affirm the dignity of trans/queer communities and support the full emotional humanity of men and masculine folks; and,
