RAFT Weekend - Monte's 5K
It's time to break a stride and bust a sweat for student scholarships! Attendees are required to register in advance and encouraged to donate to support the student scholarship fund. Drums in Dialogue: Taiko Drumming
CSUMB’s Music Program and Heritage Musics Initiative invite you to a participatory taiko drumming experience led by artist and educator Ikuyo Conant. Explore taiko’s cultural significance, physical energy, and collaborative process while connecting its resonant rhythms to Japanese American and local Monterey music communities. Open to students and the general public, this free event invites everyone, regardless of musical experience, to listen, move, drum, and experience the power of making music together.
