Pintando en Comunidad

This is an open house-style event where students are invited to paint, enjoy refreshing mocktails, and learn more about El Centro - its resources, programs, and the ways it supports students throughout their time on campus. Whether you’re new, returning, or simply curious, you’re welcome to stop by, meet others, and explore what the space has to offer. No art experience is needed just come as you are. Otter Games Fall 2026

Taking place on the Rec field, Otter Games draws heavily from Squid Games but with a unique Otter twist. The Plunge 2026

The Plunge is a spirited CSUMB tradition held at Del Monte Beach near the Wharf in Monterey, CA. On the day before classes begin, students gather to take a bold leap into the Pacific Ocean symbolizing a fresh start and a revitalized commitment to the year ahead. Whether you are jumping in or cheering from the shore, The Plunge is all about community, energy, and starting the semester with courage and connection. Shuttle transportation will be provided beginning at 7:00 AM from Lot 71 to the Wharf, with return service available until 10:30 AM. The first 1,000 participants to check in at Lot 71 will receive a free give away item. The give away will not be available at the beach, so be sure to check in and pick up your wristband at Lot 71 if you plan to self-drive! Organization: SELD.
