SI26 - Track 9: Low Stress Path to Acces
Creating accessible documents from the start is easier now than it ever has been. With a bit of re-training, we can use the tools we already know to their full potential and include the widest range of students possible. This track goes back to the basics of Word processors, slide decks, and spreadsheets to provide workflows that should be baked into the creation of new files.
Faculty will complete a self-paced WebAIM training offered across the CSU. The course runs fully online in Canvas with flexible pacing. Participants will have 1 month to complete the course. Those who complete the training will earn a certificate. Erin Foster, CAT accessibility specialist, will be enrolled to support questions and provide guidance.
