Bus Trip to UCLA art museums - Tickets on Sale
The Fine Arts Department will be taking a field trip on a chartered bus to the UCLA campus and surrounding museums, The Fowler and The Hammer, on Friday, March 14, 2025. This trip is open to all students, staff and faculty. We will leave at 7:30am and will return by 8:00 or 8:30pm depending on traffic. Tickets are $20 and must be purchased in advance. The Human Library® started in Denmark over 20 years ago and has grown to be a global movement to challenge stereotypes and prejudices through meaningful dialogue in a safe and inclusive environment. “The Human Library® project creates an opportunity for helpful dialogues around stigmatized topics like mental health and substance use disorders,” said Annie Jankovitz, SLO Behavioral Health Specialist. “Through the sharing of personal stories, we offer people the opportunity to question prejudice and implicit bias around previously held beliefs.
