Volunteer at People's Kitchen

Community-wide Events Calendar The second Thursday of each month volunteers from Cuesta College serve lunch to more than 100  people at the homeless center, 40 Prado. Samantha Nye: Web of Love

Community-wide Events Calendar Web of Love is an immersive video installation that reimagines a 1966 Scopitone film of the same title through a contemporary, queer lens. Nye's near shot-by-shot adaptation stars Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens, with music by Erin Markey, and was filmed on location in SLO at the Madonna Inn, Sycamore Springs, and within a completely fabricated, custom-built, faux heart-shaped hot tub suite inspired by 1970s romance resorts. See the Miossi Gallery, room 7170 on the SLO campus transformed into an interactive sculptural lounge with red shag carpet and heart hot tubs as furniture with a 4 channel video installation that includes mature content.
