Join us for an inside look at IWU’s student-led Airbnb/VRBO project, an experiential entrepreneurship initiative that brings classroom concepts to life. This session will explore the development and management of the property, offering insights into strategy, operations, and key lessons learned along the way. Led in collaboration with alum and Entrepreneur in Residence Marc Talluto ’94, this project highlights how students can turn ideas into real-world impact. Following the presentation and Q&A, attendees are invited to visit the property on North Evans St for an open house tour and experience the space firsthand. The home features three bedrooms accommodating up to eight guests, along with unique amenities including an office space, game room, bonus “cabin room,” and a spacious backyard, designed to create a comfortable, home-like environment. This event is open to students, families, and members of the IWU alumni community interested in entrepreneurship, real estate, and experiential learning.

Student Senate Earth Week Clothing Swap
The Sustainability Commissioners will host a clothing swap during Earth Week, which is open to all students. Students are encouraged to bring clothes to donate or donate beforehand via the designated bins we will have around campus. Students will be able to browse through items contributed by others; these items include not only clothes but also books, shoes, bags, and jewelry.
