In A Morada: Conversation and Book Signing with Author Frank Haug, Meet with Frank Haug, RC ‘06, for a signing and discussion of his book In A Morada. Deeply rooted in the culture and history of Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado, the story tracks the characters over twenty-four hours as they venture through family strife, religious experience, philosophical inquiry, historical inheritance and self-doubt. Gunfights, chase scenes and romance play out against the breathtaking backdrop of the rivers, fields and mountains of the Southwest. Guest Artist: Fernanda Nieto, piano
The Department of Fine & Performing Arts Music Program is delighted to welcome Argentinean pianist Fernanda Nieto to the Claver Recital Hall stage as a guest artist for their Fall 2026 Concert & Event Series. The program, titled Reflexion, Nostalgia and Dance: Discovering the Root of Folk Elements in Argentinean Music, explores the origins of Argentine musical traditions and their expression within the pianistic repertoire. Through works by both celebrated and lesser-known folkloric composers, the recital traces the rich dialogue between folk idioms and classical forms. Featuring music by, Alberto Ginastera, Luis Gianneo, Carlos Guastavino, Alberto Williams and Astor Piazzolla, the program highlights the rhythmic vitality, lyricism, nostalgia, and dance traditions that define Argentina’s musical identity. The recital will be held in Claver Recital Hall on Tuesday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m.

Music Program Faculty Recital
The Department of Fine & Performing Arts Music Program will present the Music Program Faculty Recital for the Fall 2026 semester on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. in Claver Recital Hall. The program is titled "The Sounds of America at 250: A Student and Faculty Lecture Recital" and is offered in partnership with The Society of American Music's "Sounding the Nation at 250". It will feature a celebration of music by American composers of all genres, time periods, backgrounds, and identities from the past 250 years with program notes offered by current Regis music students throughout the recital. A highlight will be the performance of Music Program Faculty Dr. Loretta Notareschi's composition "Independence Suite" which has been sponsored, in part, by The Society of American Music.
