The Department of Fine & Performing Arts is delighted to host Dr. M. Roger
Holland, II, as the featured artist for its biennial Inspired Thinkers Series.?
Dr. Holland is the Teaching Associate Professor of Music and Religion and
Director of The Spirituals Project with the Lamont School of Music at the
University of Denver. Dr. Holland will give a keynote presentation and lead a
concert with The Spirituals Project choir exploring the multiple functions that
spirituals served for the enslaved African community in the United
States.
