"LC150+" exhibit hosted by the Department of Architecture
The The Department of Architecture in the Stuckeman School is hosting “LC150+,” a traveling exhibition celebrating the architectural legacy of Charles-Édouard Jeanneret – professionally known as Le Corbusier – from April 28 to May 16 in the Rouse Gallery, Stuckeman Family Building. The exhibition is organized by renowned architect Rene Tan, co-founder and director of the award-winning Singapore-based firm RT+Q Architects.
Le Corbusier is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of what’s now known as modern architecture. He dedicated his career, which spanned five decades, to designing buildings that provided better living conditions for residents of heavily populated cities in Europe, Japan and India, as well as North and South America.
Organized by architecture faculty members Benay Gürsoy, Orsolya Gáspár and Mehrdad Hadighi, “LC150+” showcases more than 150 detailed architectural models of Le Corbusier’s work, which are reconstructed and built to scale by RT+Q’s interns.

Architecture and Landscape Architecture Summer Camp (beginners)
The College of Arts and Architecture’s Stuckeman School, in collaboration with Penn State Outreach, is offering two options for students interested in its annual Architecture and Landscape Architecture Summer Camp on the University Park campus this year.
This first session is designed as an introductory, hands-on course that requires no previous prior knowledge of architecture, landscape design, art, construction, etc. Perfect for beginners, the camp is intended to get students to think spatially about design.

Architecture and Landscape Architecture Summer Camp (advanced)
The College of Arts and Architecture’s Stuckeman School, in collaboration with Penn State Outreach, is offering two options for students interested in its annual Architecture and Landscape Architecture Summer Camp on the University Park campus this year.
The second camp option will be held July 19-23 and is intended for students who has had some design experience – perhaps a drafting class or some other experience with spatial design concepts in high school. Students entering 11th-grade through recent graduates are recommended to take the second, more advanced camp.
