Rehearsing Begumpura: An Anti-Caste Thea

The workshop, titled “Rehearsing Begumpura: An Anti-Caste Theatre Workshop,” will be facilitated by Maulikraj Shrimali, a playwright, director, and Dalit artist-activist currently pursuing a PhD in Performance Studies at Northwestern University. The workshop uses performance as a method of critical inquiry to explore race, caste, hierarchy, and possibilities of radical equality. Further details are in the document attached.
