Capstone Scholars: Magic the Gathering

Magic: The Gathering is a trading card game that's very fun to learn and play. If you're looking for a way to learn a new hobby and meet new folks, look no further than a night of Magic with your fellow Capstone Scholars! Capstone Scholars: Service: Letters Against Isolation

Join us in in the Capstone House Lobby as we write and decorate cards for Letters Against Isolation, a groups that fights senior loneliness by sending handwritten letters to residents of assisted living facilities and nursing homes.  Senior loneliness is a well-documented issue and has effects not only on seniors’ mental health but on their physical health as well.  Through handwritten messages of love, hope, and joy, Letters Against Loliness' volunteer community aims to bring seniors connection and improve their mental and physical health.  We will have all supplies needed to write and decorate the letters, and we hope you will help us fight senior loneliness, one letter at a time!
