, November 7-16, 2025, The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde, Directed by Dustin Whitehead, Longstreet Theatre  Meet Jack Worthing, a socialite leading two lives. He’s the respectable “Jack” at his country estate, but pretends to be his imaginary brother, the freewheeling “Ernest,” in the city. When his good friend Algernon discovers the deception, he decides to get in on the action, coming to Jack’s country estate as the fictional brother.  This complicates not only Jack’s designs on Algernon’s cousin Gwendolen, but Algernon’s own desire for Jack’s young ward, Cecily.  Filled with absurdist plot twists and Wilde’s acerbic wit, this “trivial comedy for serious people” is a masterpiece of farce that The Telegraph said “has a claim to being the most perfect high comedy in the English language.” Get Tickets. Whose Live Anyway?

The current cast members of the Emmy-nominated TV show Whose Line Is It Anyway? are proud to present their new improv tour: WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised comedy and song all base on audience suggestions. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray will leave you gasping with the very witty scenes they invent before your eyes. Vista Art Night featuring Sean Madden

As a member of the Vista Guild Association, the Koger Center for the Arts is proud to partner with the Jasper Project in Third Thursday Art Night. We feature a different artist every month with an opening reception on the Third Thursday of the month — but THIS month we’re hosting our opening reception on Tuesday, November 18. Our featured artist of November is Sean Madden. Artist Bio: Sean Madden is a multimedia artist who captures landscapes and portraits of Columbia in such a way that makes the images both familiar and fresh at the same time. Both Madden’s parents were artists, so creating was never foreign to him. His mother was an accomplished oil painter, and his father was a master carpenter, scratch painter, and sculptor. Ija Monet: "Colorful Memories"

We are excited to present “Colorful Memories,” an upcoming art exhibit in the Gallery at the Koger Center featuring the work of Ija Monet! Columbia, South Carolina artist Ija Charles is a self-taught painter/entrepreneur. Her series range from portraits of ordinary people to a diverse sampling of symbols from our day to day culture. These images are then reimagined and reconstructed in her own unique way. Ija plants an idea for each new work and harvests the positive vibes her very foundation is based upon in every piece once sealed with her signature. This unique collaboration between USC Theatre and the Betsy Blackmon Dance Program is being created in collaboration with theatre and dance faculty Jennifer Deckert, Marybeth Gorman Craig, Lauren Wilson, and Dustin Whitehead, while featuring an ensemble of theatre and dance students supported by MFA designers Egba Evwibovwe (scenic) and Helen Ryser (costumes).
