Sal Vulcano's "Everything's Fine" Tour

Staten Island native Sal Vulcano is best known for creating and starring in truTV’s long-running hit “Impractical Jokers,” and for “The Misery Index” on TBS. In addition to performing as part of The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe to sold-out arenas, Sal founded the No Presh Network in 2020, hosting “Hey Babe!” and “Taste Buds” podcasts.  Sal’s debut solo comedy special ‘Terrified’ was released in May 2024 on YouTube. Sal also tours with his Impractical Jokers co-stars, selling out countless arenas over the years. Koger Jazz Heritage Festival: USC Jazz Alumni Concert

USC Jazz and Koger Center for the Arts present the inaugural Koger Jazz Heritage Festival, featuring three days of jazz concerts. The festival kicks off with a celebration of the USC Jazz Studies department with headline Amos Hoffman Trio on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 7:30 in the Koger Black Box Theater. The first concert of the festival will feature USC Jazz Alumni, led by the Amos Hoffman Trio. Tickets are available online and in person at the Koger Center Box Office. Koger Jazz Heritage Festival: Vincent Gardner with USC Jazz Faculty

The second concert of the inaugural Koger Jazz Heritage Festival moves to the Darla Moore School of Business Johnson Performance Hall. Trombonist Vincent Gardner, joined by our illustrious USC Jazz Faculty, performs an exciting program of big band jazz at 3 p.m.  A member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Vincent Gardner has contributed many arrangements to the orchestra. In 2009, he was commissioned by Jazz at Lincoln Center to compose “The Jesse B. Semple Suite,” a 60-minute piece inspired by the short stories of Langston Hughes. Vincent is featured as trombonist on a number of notable recordings and has recorded five CDs as a bandleader for Steeplechase Records. He has performed with The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Bobby McFerrin, Harry Connick, Jr. The Saturday Night Live Band, Chaka Khan, A Tribe Called Quest, and many others. Homebody

HomeBody is an engaging and interactive body image workshop that provides psychoeducation on body liberation, body positivity, and body neutrality frameworks. Participants explore personal and societal messages that contribute to shame, pressure, and disconnection from the body, and examine how these narratives impact mental health, self-image, and behavior. Through guided discussion, reflection, and skill-building exercises, students learn ways to disrupt harmful body-related narratives and increase self-compassion and agency. The Simril(l)s: A Family in Black & White Documentary and Talkback

The film follows a 400-year journey of truth and reconciliation between two branches of their family—one Black, one white—as they uncover shared roots from slavery in South Carolina to a modern-day reunion and pilgrimage to Liberia. It’s both a personal and national reckoning, culminating in the unveiling of South Carolina’s first historical marker to acknowledge the Ku Klux Klan. Williams (born November 26, 1937) is an American photographer, publisher, author and inventor who is best known for his photographs documenting the civil rights movement in South Carolina. In 2019, with wife Barbara, and sister Brenda, Cecil created South Carolina’s first and only civil rights museum. Before 12 years of age, his camera had captured the petitioners in Clarendon County as they lit the torch of freedom. In 10th grade, he photographed Thurgood Marshall coming to Charleston for the Briggs case, and again one year later, speaking at Claflin. Introduction to MATLAB

MATLAB is a feature-rich programming language for scientific and numerical data processing for which USC has a university-wide site license. MATLAB also has many application toolkits available for use in diverse fields of research. This workshop will introduce users to the MATLAB programming language, with a focus on reading spreadsheet data into MATLAB, processing the data using matrix operations, writing the processed data to a spreadsheet, and visualizing the data. The McNair Conversations on the American South: Coach Frank Beamer

  The McCausland College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Carolina is pleased to welcome Frank Beamer as the 2026 Honoree for the McNair Conversations on the American South. The talk will be hosted by Mark Smith, Director of the Institute for Southern Studies and Carolina Distinguished Professor of History. Frank Beamer is a legendary American college football coach, best known for his highly successful 29-season tenure (1987-2015) at his alma mater, Virginia Tech, where he became the winningest coach in program history, leading them to numerous conference titles, 23 consecutive bowl games (including a BCS National Championship appearance in the 1999 season), and earning national acclaim for building "Beamer Ball". "Surrounded and Beset By Enemies": Eighteenth-century Catawba Women's Responses to War

Abstract: In the 1700s, Catawba women responded to the world around them by reshaping their lives in response to the crises occurring near their villages. However, they did not sit by complacently, waiting for history to happen to them. Instead, Catawba women pivoted in response to the profound societal upheavals and contributed their physical and emotional labor in caring for their people. Bauer will discuss how Catawba women reassessed foodways production, burial practices, and self-defense strategies because their families’ lives and the Nation's survival depended on such measures.   Bio: Brooke Bauer, Ph.D. is a citizen of the Catawba Nation in South Carolina and an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is the author of the award-winning book Becoming Catawba: Catawba Indian Women and Nation-building, 1540-1840. Parker Quartet Spring 2026 Concert

The Grammy Award–winning Parker Quartet is recognized as one of the leading string quartets of its generation, known for its dynamic interpretations, fearless programming, and passionate advocacy for contemporary music. Since its founding in 2002, the ensemble has earned international acclaim and performs regularly at major venues including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and Konzerthaus Berlin.
