Mindfulness Mondays with Laura Shaver-Hast offers SOM students ways to manage stress and burnout by using core mindfulness skills.  Participants will also practice mini meditations as a means to connect and be grounded in confidence rather than anxiety. Mind, Body, & Balance (Yoga)

Our yoga session is a calm, structured session focused on connecting movement, breath, and mindfulness. It begins with a brief moment of centering, where students sit or lie down to focus on their breathing and set an intention for the practice. Our licensed instructor guides the group through a series of poses, which flow smoothly from one to another. The session ends with a cool-down and a period of relaxation allowing the body and mind to absorb the benefits of the practice. Our yoga class promotes flexibility, strength, balance, and mental clarity in a supportive, peaceful environment. All skill levels are welcome. Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM. Game Day: Study Break Edition

Game Day is all about unplugging, laughing, and enjoying some friendly competition with classic favorites everyone loves! Students can jump into fast-paced rounds of UNO, testing their luck and strategy, steady their nerves with towering games of Jenga, challenge their memory and reflexes with Simon, or go head-to-head in clever battles of Connect Four. Whether you’re aiming to win or just playing for fun, these games create the perfect mix of excitement, teamwork, and lighthearted rivalry—making Game Day a great way to relax, connect with friends, and take a well-deserved break.
