Think you know what’s healthy? Think again! Join Amorita McClam, Dr. Jack Goldsmith and Robert Ison and the Nutrition in Medicine interest group in this session of our Healthy Eating & Wellness Workshop, we’ll separate fact from fiction by debunking common nutrition and wellness trends. We’ll explore popular food, diet, fitness, and wellness claims and uncover what the evidence really says—so you can make informed choices that support your health and well-being.

Therapy Dog Toby is Back!
Toby Is Back!
One of our favorite four-legged friends is returning to the Floyd School of Medicine for his first appearance of the academic year! Toby, a Great Pyrenees will be walking the halls from 12:00–1:00 PM. Be sure to catch him for some furry love and a much-needed wellness break! Research suggests that spending time with therapy dogs can be associated with lower anxiety, improved mood, better focus, and enhanced empathy. Why not give it a try? Stop by, say hello to Toby, and take a few minutes to relax and recharge. After all, if the research is correct, you may walk away feeling a little better than when you arrived!

Gross Anatomy Practice Practical Session
The Anatomy Academic support leaders are hosting a practice practical session in the Gross Anatomy Lab. Sign up is required in advance. You will be assigned a 3:00 pm, 3:45 pm, or a 4:30 pm group. You must sign up by Thursday, October 15 at 12:00 pm. PLEASE arrive at your assigned time with a pencil. All ASL's are prior students of the class. MSK Review in Anatomy Lab for M1's
The Ortho & Sports Medicine Interest Group, in collaboration with the Anatomy Academic Support Leaders, will host an in lab review session for the M1's on Monday, October 19th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.
