PI Academy: PI Responsibilities in Financial Grants Mgmt. & Cost Share Overview

Join the Controller’s Office for an in-depth session on principal investigator (PI) responsibilities in managing sponsored project finances. This session will highlight critical compliance and accountability requirements PIs must understand to effectively steward grant funding. In addition, the session will provide an overview of USC’s cost share policies and processes, helping PIs navigate institutional expectations and federal regulations. Participants will leave with practical guidance to strengthen their financial management practices and ensure alignment with USC and sponsor requirements. Register to attend the online session on Oct. 17, 2025, 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.
