South Carolina Student Hazing Prevention Summit - Staff Training
All USC staff are invited to join the Hazing Prevention & Education Coalition March 23, 10:00-11:30 a.m. for a workshop designed to help staff think creatively about high-risk student behavior. The facilitator, Dr. Lori Hart, specializes in simplifying complex situations in the collegiate experience and helping students and staff realize the basis of all our work is about high-functioning, authentic relationships. This program will focus on her research in the areas of well-being and flourishing for students and staff.

USC uses 25Live as its central calendar and space reservation system for events, meetings, and room scheduling across the university. Whether you are brand new to 25Live or a seasoned user looking to strengthen your understanding, this crash course is designed for you.
In this workshop, participants will gain a practical overview of how to reserve spaces, promote events to university calendars, and navigate key features of the system. We’ll also share tips and best practices to help you use 25Live more efficiently and optimize your event and space management workflows.
This session is ideal for employees who create, manage, or support events and room reservations and want to feel more confident using 25Live.

Question, Persuade, Refer Training
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is a nationally recognized suicide prevention certification that equips participants with the skills to recognize warning signs, offer compassionate support, and connect someone to professional help. This interactive training empowers college students, faculty, and staff to confidently respond when someone is experiencing emotional distress or suicidal thoughts. Participants will learn practical, trauma-informed strategies to help keep members of our campus community safe and supported. All attendees receive an official QPR Gatekeeper Certificate and digital badge upon completion.
