SAAS Coffee and Collaboration featuring the Student Disability Resource Center

Coffee and Collaboration is a monthly event that aims to promote networking with colleagues and increase exposure to different units and departments across the division. The next department to host this semester's Coffee and Collaboration is the Student Disability Resource Center. All division staff are invited to attend. Coffee and hot chocolate will be provided and attendees are encouraged to bring their own mugs, though cups will still be provided for your convenience. From choosing the right sessions, to networking with intention, and translating conference experiences into real impact back on campus, this panel offers practical guidance for attendees at every career stage. Panelists will share candid insights, lessons learned, and strategies for navigating conferences with confidence—helping you move beyond simply attending to truly benefiting from higher education events. Question, Persuade, Refer Training

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is a nationally recognized suicide prevention certification that equips participants with the skills to recognize warning signs, offer compassionate support, and connect someone to professional help. This interactive training empowers college students, faculty, and staff to confidently respond when someone is experiencing emotional distress or suicidal thoughts. Participants will learn practical, trauma-informed strategies to help keep members of our campus community safe and supported. All attendees receive an official QPR Gatekeeper Certificate and digital badge upon completion.  This training date is in collaboration with the Office of Organizational and Professional Development (OPD); please use their website to register. 25Live Training

USC uses 25Live as its central calendar and space reservation system for events, meetings, and room scheduling across the university. Whether you are brand new to 25Live or a seasoned user looking to strengthen your understanding, this crash course is designed for you. In this workshop, participants will gain a practical overview of how to reserve spaces, promote events to university calendars, and navigate key features of the system. We’ll also share tips and best practices to help you use 25Live more efficiently and optimize your event and space management workflows. This session is ideal for employees who create, manage, or support events and room reservations and want to feel more confident using 25Live.
