Donning of the Kente Cloth
The Donning of the Kente Cloth is an annual cultural achievement ceremony held at EMU since 2015. The ceremony celebrates the graduation of students who recognize their African roots by presenting them with a stole made of Ghanaian Kente cloth. At EMU, we also celebrate graduates who identify with any ethnic groups, tribes, and/or nationalities. These students may choose to wear a satin flag sash representing the colors of their group.
