The Living Law event at Fayetteville Technical Community College is an annual community program that examines notable U.S. Supreme Court cases to encourage discussion and promote collaborative learning. The event features a short film dramatizing the case, followed by a panel discussion with local legal and subject matter experts, and concludes with audience questions. Past cases have covered topics ranging from medical marijuana legality to Miranda rights, with last year’s focusing on First Amendment limits in social media threats.

The Art Gallery @ The Library is seeking entries for the 2026 FTCC ARTWORKS Juried Exhibition, which will be held from March 16 – May 7, 2026. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit quality artwork that was created during the past year. All media is accepted.

About the Exhibit
The Art Gallery @ The Library is proud to present the best of the best artwork created in the past year by the FTCC community. The “FTCC ARTWORKS: 2026 Exhibition” features drawing, sculpture, painting, digital art, design and ceramics.
Prizes will be awarded based on artistic merit. Many of the artworks will be available for purchase.
