Sign Language Organization General Meeting
The Sign Language Organization provides practice in American Sign Language and spreads awareness of deaf culture to the State College and University Park community. SLO provides its members with practice in the art of sign language and instruction on deaf culture during its informal meetings for anyone who is interested. All majors and ASL experience are welcome!

Alzheimer's Awareness Club Meeting
The goal of the Alzheimer's Awareness Club is to raise awareness and promote understanding of Alzheimer's and dementia within the community. Through fundraisers, donation drives, volunteer work, and outreach initiatives this organization will help families who have been impacted by this disease. This organization also advocates for improving brain health early on to avoid Alzheimer's and dementia in the future.

"Introduction to Supported Conversation in Adults with Aphasia (SCA™)" presented by Chaleece Sandberg, Ph.D, CCC-SLP, will assist participants in developing an understanding of how aphasia affects communication and how Supported Conversation in Adults with Aphasia (SCA™) can decrease language barriers. Participants will have the opportunity to practice SCA™ techniques through role-play.
