Wind Ensemble Concert
The ACE Festival continues celebrating Academic and Creative Excellence into the evening with the The EMU Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Kyle Remnant, will present a concert of "borrowed" music, featuring pieces not originally composed for wind band. A celebration of music's power to transcend time, space, and genre, this program includes brass band transcriptions by Peter Graham and Philip Sparke and culminates in Ottorino Respighi's colossal orchestral tone poem Pines of Rome.

Join the EMU University Choir, under the direction of Dr. Benjamin Bergey, for an evening of hope, joy, and beautiful choral music! Highlights include choral masterpiece The Awakening, a South Indian raga, a newly commissioned work, a couple pop songs including Some Nights, and freedom songs. There will even be an opportunity to sing along with us!
