Koger Jazz Heritage Festival: Virginia MacDonald + Michael Dease
Enjoy an evening of live jazz at this free outdoor concert in Columbia's Finlay Park as part of the Koger Jazz Heritage Festival. Featuring: Virginia MacDonald (clarinet), Michael Dease (trombone), Left Bank Big Band, Clark Combo, DJ sets by Shaina Dashiell,
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of world-class jazz in the park. The concert is presented by the Koger Jazz Heritage Festival, City of Columbia and the University of South Carolina School of Music.
Note: a clear bag policy is enforced at Finlay Park.

Jazz Girls Day® Columbia
Middle and high school girls are invited to spend a day of learning, playing and performing at Jazz Girls Day®! Founded by Dr. Colleen Clark, this free event welcomes girls who are just starting jazz or continuing their musical journey. Participants will enjoy master classes, jam sessions and the chance to build meaningful connections with peers. Registration is required.
Music educators are also invited to learn how to encourage girls to play jazz by registering for our Jazz Girls Day® Jazz Education Session.
