We would like to have the US Army host an Army Experience event on campus on April 3rd from 8:00am to 4:00pm in the East Lot of NCAB. We don’t need the entire parking lot, but we would need approximately 20 parking spaces to have them bring their 50 ft trailer to set up.
Along with the camper trailer, they would have an information table and tent, space to do a robot challenge, uniform display, and ordnance display area. See attached picture for example of their set up display.

Public Events
The Intercultural Living Library is a storytelling event that fosters understanding between cultures. Similar to a local library, visitors are ‘Readers’ who consider available titles and join a small group interested in the same 'Book.' In this setting, 'Books' are people who share their stories and answer Readers' questions about their cultures. The Living Library is a nonjudgmental place where Readers and Books come together, engage in respectful dialogue, and learn from others' experiences. “Social Powwow at CWI” April 24, 4:30-7:30pm. El Dorado Institute of Nampa received a grant to fund a social powwow. CWI will act as the Host for the event. There will be local native dancers and singers and a troupe from California. Danza Azteca Tlecoatl (California) Northern Paiute (local/regional) are two of the dance groups expected. The event is open to all CWI Students, Faculty, and Staff as well as tribe and local community members that wish to come. It serves CWI’s mission 3 fold:
1. Cultural Education opportunity for students and employees,
2. Community building event for students of CWI,
3. Building connections with our local community and regional tribes,
The event will be of similar scope and design to the evening Social Dance and Gathering that we had one evening of the summit with some of the same tribe members supporting. That event was well received by all that participated.
