Student Events GET TIPS TO MAKE COLLEGE EASIER. The Guided Path to Success (GPS) Workshop Series is designed to help you with study techniques, life skills and career readiness. This semester 14 topics will be offered. Attend the ones that are the most beneficial to you.   EARN FREE COLLEGE CREDITS! Earn one free General Studies (GENS) credit by participating in at least eight different workshops and completing the homework assignments and a final reflective essay. You can earn up to 3 free credits by continuing to participate in the program in future semesters. Please note: if you have completed GENS 105, Life Success, you cannot earn additional credit by attending the workshops. Beginning January 28, 2019 and taking place every Monday from 4:00-5:00pm in the Instructional Commons North (ICN) room 1002, the workshops are free and no prior registration is required. State University Application Workshop

Student Events Thinking about transferring?  Not sure where to begin?  We have the assistance you need. Transfer Services will be offering an Application Workshop and On the Spot Admission Event. Attending Schools include, Eastern Illinois University  *, Northern Illinois University  *, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, University of Illinois Springfield, Western Illinois University  * Free on-site application available and on the spot admission decisions made for eligible students. Applications can be completed on site if not before, Official transcripts needed for official admission decision. Unofficial transcripts accepted for discussion but not for admission decision. Dine&Discuss "Sexual Violence on Campus"

Student Events • One in five female college students experience sexual assault, but only 20 percent of cases are reported. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and with that comes the opportunity to challenge the norms of sexual violence.
