Have you ever felt held back by your body in your musical practice? Are you able to get a great sound but feel the aches and pains after a long session? You may be interested to learn about the Alexander Technique, a body-mind technique for improving ease and function during activity.
FM Alexander was a stage performer who became entangled with dysfunctional patterns of his body that led to repetitive injury. Finding no recourse in medicine, he went on a journey inward to discover and free himself from his harmful habits. Now, his technique has been passed on from teacher to student to improve ease and functioning of the body and mind.
