We will discuss topics relevant to the recovery journey and explore them together. It's important to note that while we may discuss principles found in 12-step programs, this meeting isn't affiliated with any "Anonymous" group. All Recovery Meetings are an alternative to traditional “12 Step Meetings.” In this group, you may interact with folks with various pathways to recovery, which may be different from your chosen pathway. This event will be a meeting of the App State Nerf Club. The meeting will start at 4:00 in PSU 122 and by 4:05 club officers will start the rules presentation. After the conclusion of the rules presentation, participants will move to Sanford Mall and begin gameplay. The play area will consist of both halves of Sanford Mall and the games will be Call of Duty-style gunplay games using Nerf Blasters with modes like 'free-for-all' and 'team versus'. At the conclusion of each match, players will move back inside to rest and get water and officers will go over the rules for the next match. After the last match, players will do a thorough sweep for stray darts before retrieving any belongings from the briefing room and departing. Sanford Mall is scheduled for an extra hour with the assumption that some dedicated players will want to continue playing.
