Spirit of Catawba Scholarship Competition
The Spirit of Catawba Scholarship Competition is set for Friday, February 6th. This is a full tuition scholarship for top students who excel in two or more of the primary values of Catawba: Scholarship, Character, Culture, and Service. Eligible students have engaged in an activity that sets them apart, such as starting their own service organization, initiating a new club, excelling as a leader in their school or community, starting their own business, or conducting a research project. To be considered, students must apply by November 15.

Hobgood Scholarship Competition
Catawba offers a full-tuition Theatre Arts scholarship that is auditioned for and awarded on a special in-person interview day. The Hobgood Theatre Arts Scholarship is awarded to the incoming student who best demonstrates the most potential in the Department’s long-established mission of "Changing the Face of the American Theatre." Participation in The Hobgood Scholarship Competition is by invitation only, and preliminary screenings are done through the Accept’d platform or by auditioning in-person through an alternate venue (SETC, NCTC, ITF).
