Socratic Scholarship Competition
The Socratic Scholarship Competition will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026. The Socratic Scholarship is Catawba College's Most Prestigious Scholarship Award. To be considered, students must have a weighted GPA of 4.0 or greater or an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or greater and applied by November 15. Students who apply for the scholarship are strongly encouraged to also apply to the Honors Program (application available in the Admissions Portal). ,

Spirit of Catawba Scholarship Competition
The Spirit of Catawba Scholarship Competition is set for Friday, February 6th. This is a full tuition scholarship for top students who excel in two or more of the primary values of Catawba: Scholarship, Character, Culture, and Service. Eligible students have engaged in an activity that sets them apart, such as starting their own service organization, initiating a new club, excelling as a leader in their school or community, starting their own business, or conducting a research project. To be considered, students must apply by November 15.
