Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony
Five alumni will be recognized during Homecoming Weekend,
They became an entrepreneur, a theatre designer and teacher, a civic leader, a business strategist, and a coach—but the measure of a life is not always found in a title.
This Homecoming, Catawba College will honor five alumni whose lives since graduation have been shaped by the work they chose, the people they invested in, and the places they made their own.
Andrew Chambers ’17 will receive the Young Alumni Award for Service; Caleb Garner ’17, the Young Alumni Award for Career Development; Shari Marshall Graham ’83, the Distinguished Alumni Award for Service; Steve Flood ’85, the Distinguished Alumni Award for Career Achievement; and Curtis J. Walker ’92, the Catawba Black Alumni Pioneer Award.
