The Winston-Salem State University Educator Preparation Program in partnership with The College Board Advanced Placement Program invites ALL Advanced Placement (AP) teachers to attend the 2024 Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI). The ASPI is for teachers who are currently teaching or preparing to teach Advanced Placement courses in their high schools. The course offerings include the following:

AP Capstone Training 2024
Teachers of AP Capstone™ courses—AP Seminar and AP Research—are required to take part in professional development the summer before their first-year teaching either course.
The week-long workshops train teachers on delivering interdisciplinary instruction, supporting student research, and facilitating project-based assessments.
