Racing Ram Night at the Charlotte Motor Speedway

WSSU Main Events An opportunity to support the Racing Ram, WSSU sophomore Rajah Caruth! Rajah will be driving in the ARCA Menard Series race of the Coca-Cola 600 weekend in Concord, N.C. He’ll be driving the number 6 car. Before the race, join us in Red Zone (Gate 6) at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for our Alumni Tailgate that alumnus Winston Robinson will host. Enjoy food, music, and festivities as we celebrate this historic moment. The event is free and open to all alumni, students, faculty, staff, and supporters. WSSU Main Events he Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team have announced they will host its Elite Day Camp at the C.E. Gaines Center on June 11th-12th. WSSU Main Events This camp is open to rising 9th-12th graders. Each camper will perform position drills and will be tested on their 40-yard dash, short shuttle, L-drill, vertical jump, and broad jump. Campers will also have a question and answer portion at the end of the camp with the WSSU Football Coaches and Staff.   What to bring: Cleats and sneakers.   Each camper will need to bring a photocopy of the FRONT and BACK of their insurance card and be prepared to complete a waiver form during registration. Spring has sprung, and the S.G. Atkins Community Development Corporation (CDC) is starting a new season of the Simon's Green Acre Community Garden. Community volunteer days are held on the second Saturday (9 a.m. to noon) and the third Wednesday (6 to 8 p.m.) from May to December and other times by appointment (please contact the garden manager for details). Volleyball Position Camp

WSSU Main Events This one-day camp is available to rising 8th graders to rising seniors. This camp will provide the training of all fundamentals including passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and serving. Campers will be divided by age, grade, skill, and experience. Cheer Explosion Camp

WSSU Main Events On June 20th – 24th, the Annual Cheer Explosion will be held at the C.E. Gaines Center on the campus of Winston-Salem State University. It is a unique COMMUTER camp for individuals ages 5-17. It is designed for those looking to learn more about or improve proper cheerleading technique. The Powerhouse Red & White Cheerleaders will help develop beginner, intermediate and advanced cheerleaders. Your child will get five full days of instruction! Males and females are welcome!  The camp will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a 4:00 p.m. pickup. Drop off opens at 7:30 a.m.; pick up ends by 5:00 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for participants from Monday, June 20th to Friday, June 24th. The price of the camp is $150 per child. Registration/Payment deadline is June 13th. All payments must be received in advance.
