When your family and friends go to the ocean, do you just wave at the water? Is the closest you get to being in the water using tide in your laundry room? Do you feel embarrassed if people find out you can't swim?
Then it is time to put some splash in your step! Ramapo College Swim Coach Gary Orr and Professor Alex Olbrecht (ASB and an American Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructor) will be teaching and supervising a course designed for RCNJ adults starting March 3 at 5:00 pm. Our RCNJ swim team members will be in the water helping you learn!
At the end of the course, participants will be able to move to safety if they fall into deep water. Additionally, basic swim safety and survival techniques will be taught.
