Ignite Bonfire

This is related to the "Ignite: All Campus Worship Night" event (2026-ACRTRT) happening in Statler Auditorium the same night. Cru often hosts a bonfire by Beebe Lake, and JW Betts often helps other orgs host bonfires at other places on campus, including on the Engineering Quad. This event is run by JW and Cru as part of a larger event called Ignite, which is in Statler Auditorium and co-hosted with other CURW affiliates. We have hosted many bonfires and are familiar with working with EH&S to make it happen. We have an elevated fire trough that we will bring to build a fire in. We then provide store bought marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate to attendees to make s'mores. We may have some other snacks. We will potentially set up a 10'x20' pop up tent to provide shelter for the food. We plan to do this in the same spot on the Engineering Quad that we used the last few times. Event State: Tentative.
