Mindfulness--the practice of slowing down to focus on our thoughts, feelings, and bodies--has been shown to significantly reduce stress and anxiety. It can also enhance our ability to concentrate, improve the quality of our sleep, and increase our overall happiness. Mindfulness practices encompass a variety of activities, including silent and guided meditation, creative exercises, journaling, prayer, and more.
