This program provides a space and a time for children to play, sing, cook, and do art crafts together with native speakers as instructors. In this way, kids learn by playing and by developing practical skills to communicate in Spanish in the aforementioned settings.
The games are designed to help children to naturally incorporate the right pronunciation (music and speaking), to develop listening skills (instructions in Spanish), as well as to gain some basic writing in Spanish by exposure to children’s books.

Aprendo Español Jugando, Spanish for kids

This program provides a space and a time for children to play, sing, cook, and do art crafts together with native speakers as instructors. In this way, kids learn by playing and by developing practical skills to communicate in Spanish in the aforementioned settings.
The games are designed to help children to naturally incorporate the right pronunciation (music and speaking), to develop listening skills (instructions in Spanish), as well as to gain some basic writing in Spanish by exposure to children’s books.

This program provides a space and a time for children to play, sing, cook, and do art crafts together with native speakers as instructors. In this way, kids learn by playing and by developing practical skills to communicate in Spanish in the aforementioned settings.
The games are designed to help children to naturally incorporate the right pronunciation (music and speaking), to develop listening skills (instructions in Spanish), as well as to gain some basic writing in Spanish by exposure to children’s books.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind Puppy Class

The IPAW Collaborative and IPAW Club have been collaborating with Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Monroe Region, to host puppy class here at Nazareth. These future guide dogs and their volunteer puppy raisers attend puppy class in the Shults Forum one Tuesday evening a month (typically the first Tuesday of the month). Students are welcome to observe, and may get to help out during class (for example acting as a crowd or using wheelchairs/walkers to help acclimate the pups to new equipment). This is the class Orion attended when she was still part of Guiding Eyes!
