Whether those fears relate to race, sexuality, gender, religion, belonging, or moments of uncertainty, students are encouraged to reflect on experiences that have shaped their perspectives. There are many common household products that are hazardous to the health of people, pets, and the environment such as paints, solvents, cleaners, pesticides, batteries and medical sharps. These materials require special disposal and should never be thrown in the trash or poured down the drain.
Metro is committed to providing a safe disposal site. We ask everyone to follow staff directions at all times and to move safely around the facility. Visitors who harass or endanger staff or customers may be removed from the site.

Preparing your hazardous items for transport and disposal will minimize risks to you, your family, and Metro staff.

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING,
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Mt. Hood Community College District, which encompasses parts of Multnomah, Clackamas and Hood River Counties, State of Oregon, for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 will be held on April 1, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mt. Hood Community College Board Room, AC 2359, at 26000 SE Stark Street, Gresham, Oregon. An option to join the meeting by Zoom is also available. The Zoom Meeting information is listed below. The purpose of this meeting is for the Budget Committee to receive the District’s Proposed Budget and the President’s Budget Message. Any person may attend either in person or through the Zoom Meeting to observe. No public comments will be accepted at this meeting. However, questions and comments from the public regarding the Proposed Budget are encouraged and will be accepted at the April 15, 2026, Budget Committee Meeting. Free Geek and MHCC bring you another Technology Collection Event on April 18 from 10am-2pm in Parking Lot P. This event is in conjunction with our Willamette Week's Give! Guide campaign to raise funds to bridge the digital divide by recycling and refurbishing e-waste to provide access to technology and digital skills to community members that need it the most. Bring your technology to Parking Lot P to give it a new life for someone who needs it.

Join us for Barney's Bash, an MHCC End of Year Celebration!
Barney's Bash is happening May 21, from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. in the main mall of the Gresham Campus.
Everyone is invited to this end-of-the-year celebration for MHCC students to unwind and have fun with their friends and family. The mall will be transformed into a community celebration featuring games, food, music, and more. MHCC welcomes community members to attend a day of family-friendly entertainment and activities to ring in the summer.
At Barney's Bash, attendees can look forward to an array of attractions for all ages. From a live band setting the rhythm for the day to henna tattoos adding a touch of artistry, the festivities promise to leave a lasting impression.
