Linfield Gallery: "Continuality" exhibition by Tammie Dupuis

Continuality, an exhibit by artist Tammie Dupuis, will be featured in the Linfield Gallery in the Miller Fine Arts Center at Linfield University from April 1 through May 1, 2026. The exhibit will open at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1 and the artist will give remarks during the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gallery. Light refreshments and wine will be provided. The exhibition features mixed media artworks, paintings, and sculpture. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.  Tammie was born and raised in northwestern Montana on the Flathead Reservation. Her father was Qlispe' (Upper Pend d’Oreille) and Séliš (Bitterroot Salish), and her mother descended from non–Indigenous settlers who arrived on the reservation in the 1920s. Situated between these two cultural lineages, her aesthetic navigates their intertwined and often fraught histories while exploring her own experience as a mixed–blood person. Linfield's student–led Art Club is collaborating with Willamette/PNCA University's Art Collective in an Art Exhibition! The show is entitled Linfield Meets Willamette and runs from Wednesday, April 15 through Monday, April 26. The exhibit will be in the Lou Gallery in the Miller Fine Arts Center on the Linfield campus. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Linfield Art Dept.: ”Making Prints at Frogman’s Press” a lecture by Richard Cutshall

”Making Prints at Frogman’s Press,” a talk by Professor Richard Cutshall, will be given from 4:15 pm until 5:30 pm, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Linfield University in Miller Fine Arts Center room 109B. All Linfield students, faculty, and staff and the public are invited.  Cutshall shares the following thoughts regarding his presentation: “Last summer I was afforded the opportunity by Linfield University to spend a week in an intensive workshop studying intaglio printing at Frogman's Press at the University of Iowa. This lecture details that amazing experience.” About the speaker: Richard Cutshall is a Mexican American artist/educator who works in the mediums of drawing/painting, printmaking, and sculpture. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts and a K-12 Art Education certification from Pittsburg State University and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from the University of Arkansas. Readings@The Nick: Corrie Williamson!

Readings @ The Nick presents Corrie Williamson, Join poet and environmental activist Corrie Williamson for a reading and conversation. Born on a small farm in southwestern Virginia and now living on thehigh prairies of central Montana, Williamson is the author of three books of poetry, “Your Mother’s Bear Gun,” “The River Where You Forgot My Name,” and “Sweet Husk.” She is also co-editor, with poets Anne Haven McDonnell and Kamella Cruz, of the in-progress eco-poetry anthology “A Literary Field Guide to the Rocky Mountains.” Of her latest collection, Bear Reviews urges, “Read it, y’all, for its muscularity of voice and vision, for the loving precision with which it names plants and critters and human impulses and the crises that connect us all.” A Q&A will follow the reading. Linfield Theatre: "Alice by Heart

Audiences will go back in time and through the looking glass in Alice by Heart. A musical by the creators of Spring Awakening, this poignant and meditative piece follows a young protagonist and her dearest friend as they shelter in a London Tube station during World War II air raids. They escape their dark circumstances through their imaginations and a copy of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. With stunning music and a rich movement tapestry, this production explores the bittersweet process of facing grief, change, and coming of age. Presented in collaboration with the Department of Music and directed by Janet Gupton, with book by Steven Sater & Jessie Nelson, music by Duncan Sheik, and lyrics by Steven Sater. Audiences will go back in time and through the looking glass in Alice by Heart. A musical by the creators of Spring Awakening, this poignant and meditative piece follows a young protagonist and her dearest friend as they shelter in a London Tube station during World War II air raids. Linfield Gallery: "Continuality" exhibition by Tammie Dupuis

Continuality, an exhibit by artist Tammie Dupuis, will be featured in the Linfield Gallery in the Miller Fine Arts Center at Linfield University from April 1 through May 1, 2026. The exhibit will open at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1 and the artist will give remarks during the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gallery. Light refreshments and wine will be provided. The exhibition features mixed media artworks, paintings, and sculpture. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.  Tammie was born and raised in northwestern Montana on the Flathead Reservation. Her father was Qlispe' (Upper Pend d’Oreille) and Séliš (Bitterroot Salish), and her mother descended from non–Indigenous settlers who arrived on the reservation in the 1920s. Situated between these two cultural lineages, her aesthetic navigates their intertwined and often fraught histories while exploring her own experience as a mixed–blood person.
