Linfield Gallery: "Continuality" exhibition by Tammie Dupuis

Continuality, an exhibit by artist Tammie Dupuis, will be featured in the Linfield Gallery in the Miller Fine Arts Center at Linfield University from April 1 through May 1, 2026. The exhibit will open at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1 and the artist will give remarks during the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gallery. Light refreshments and wine will be provided. The exhibition features mixed media artworks, paintings, and sculpture. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.  Tammie was born and raised in northwestern Montana on the Flathead Reservation. Her father was Qlispe' (Upper Pend d’Oreille) and Séliš (Bitterroot Salish), and her mother descended from non–Indigenous settlers who arrived on the reservation in the 1920s. Situated between these two cultural lineages, her aesthetic navigates their intertwined and often fraught histories while exploring her own experience as a mixed–blood person. Competitive Scholarship Presentation

High achieving students are invited to in-person information sessions on national competitive scholarship opportunities for the academic year 2027-28.  You must have a BA/BS in hand by the time the scholarship begins. Some opportunities involve full support for studying or teaching in an international setting, such as Fulbright or Marshall awards.  Several are offered in the United States, but have special requirements and eligibility. Most applications are due in the Fall of 2026, so knowing more about the application process is crucial!  These awards are highly prestigious, and thus highly competitive across the US.   Presentations about opportunities will be at 4 PM on April 21 and May 5 in Walker 130.  Please email me if you are interested but cannot attend!
