Clackamas Summer Band Camp is a week-long summer music program that's perfect for instrumental musicians of all levels who want to improve their skills, play fun and challenging wind ensemble repertoire, and learn about music theory. Held at the beautiful Niemeyer Center for Performing Arts on the Oregon City campus, students learn from renowned Portland-area musicians in a comfortable college-campus setting, with plenty of rehearsal time. Camp runs from 9 am - 4 pm daily with a Friday afternoon concert. Conducted by Lars Campbell, CCC's Director of Instrumental Music.

The Alexander Gallery is pleased to present, “Living Remnants” a solo exhibition of work by Mulino based artist, Jim Spillman. This exhibition opens June 25 and runs through July 31, 2025 and samples twenty years of Spillman's studio arts practice. An artist reception will be held Thursday, June 26th from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. In “Living Remnants” photographs, paintings, mixed media sculptural assemblages and literary works are showcased utilizing shape, form, and text to call attention to the landscape, the history of surfaces and human interactions with them. Jim Spillman was raised in Pennsylvania and moved to Oregon in 1959 where he pursued a career in architecture and became well known for his Eco-friendly homes in the Portland area. His sensitivity and concern for the natural landscape and human impact on it continues to be a persistent thread in his exploration of making art. Please join us in celebrating this work! The Alexander Gallery is pleased to present, “Living Remnants” a solo exhibition of work by Mulino based artist, Jim Spillman. This exhibition opens June 25 and runs through July 31, 2025 and samples twenty years of Spillman's studio arts practice. An artist reception will be held Thursday, June 26th from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. In “Living Remnants” photographs, paintings, mixed media sculptural assemblages and literary works are showcased utilizing shape, form, and text to call attention to the landscape, the history of surfaces and human interactions with them.
