Local Voices celebrates the power of storytelling across genres and backgrounds. The discussion centers on voice and storytelling—how each of us carries something meaningful to share, whether through words, music, art, or public service.
By bringing together novelists, poets, musicians, illustrators, and civic leaders, this panel aims to show that storytelling isn’t limited to those who identify strictly as “writers.” The goal is to highlight that everyone has something unique to share with the world, and that every individual’s perspective and creative expression matters.

RCC's University Transfer - TRIO SSS department is hosting the Oregon Transfer Days event on: - Wednesday, January 26, 2026, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, at RCC's Riverside Campus, Higher Education Center (RVC-HEC 129 a/b), located at 101 S Bartlett St, Medford. - Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, at RCC's Redwood Campus, Student Center (RWC-SC) at 3345 Redwood Highway, Grants Pass.
Oregon Transfer Days is an event where approximately 20 college/university representatives from accredited educational institutions will be tabling on two of our campuses, promoting the transfer of Oregon community college students to public and private four-year colleges and universities within the state. At this event, you will be given information, ask questions, and get assistance in applying for admission.
