Dr. Whitney McIntyre Miller and Dr. Anna Abdou will be presenting, "Cultivating Peaceful Schools: Insights from the Peace Leadership in Schools Summit and Grant Program".
Now in its fourth year, Chapman University, with support from the Miner Anderson Family Foundation, has run a Peace Leadership in Schools Summit and Grant Program. This program brings educational leaders, namely principals, teachers, and wellness professionals, to campus for a one-day training on how the principles and practices of integral peace leadership can be utilized to build cultures of peace on school campuses in the greater Southern California region. Those completing the training are then eligible to apply for up to $2,000 to fund projects that support peace leadership efforts on their own campuses.
